AIRNET ANNOUNCES $2M IN EXPANSION ORDERS FROM TECORE
Sales Will Provide Additional Capacity in Deployed Networks
Melbourne, FL, April 29, 2003 - AirNet Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: ANCC), the technology leader in software defined base station products for wireless communications, today announced that it has received approximately $2M in expansion purchase orders from TECORE Wireless Systems for their international deployments including the Afghan Wireless mobile network. These orders are for the purchase of AdaptaCell® hardware and software and related services previously shipped in the first quarter, or scheduled for shipment in the second quarter.
